On-line accounting allows any business to have the real time involvement of professional accountants without those professionals having to visit the premises. Accountants can be closer to their clients and provide higher value services with a faster turn around.
Combining the familiar strengths of Sage Line 50 with the power of the Internet, Online50 allows both the accountant and the client to access to a live Line 50 accounting system from multiple locations. The benefits of using Online50 include:
- One user can raise sales invoices and record cash receipts.
- Another user can manage the purchase ledger, prepare debtor reports, and reconcile the bank account.
- Another user can carry out month end and year end journals, post accruals and prepayments, and prepare management accounts.
- Users can be in different locations
- No disks need to be transferred
- The accountant has real time access as well
Once you have singed up the service with Business Direct, you can log on to this system online (Require user licence) using your web browser and see/run your account securely over the net.
Accounts can be accessed round the clock and from any location, with up to six people within in any company able to access accounts at the same time. However, no two users can alter the same information at the same time and high level security systems give equivalent security to internet banking.
